Greater St. Charles Convention and Visitors Bureau featured in Travel Illinois

The Greater St. Charles Convention and Visitors Bureau will be featured in the Fall-Winter 2017-18 issue of Travel Illinois Magazine, set to be released in print in mid-August. Travel Illinois Magazine is a publication of the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity, Office of Tourism.

The article, entitled Fox River Valley, in the Chicago & Beyond section of the magazine showcases some of the signature leisure attractions and accommodations in St. Charles, Illinois, including the St. Charles Paddlewheel Riverboats, The Arcada Theatre, Pheasant Run Resort, and the impressive path of the Fox River Bike Trail – gateway to more than 65 miles of available trails for cycling, running and more.

The article is accompanied by a full page advertisement entitled Come to Our Table encouraging visitors to experience all that the region has to offer in dining. The ad is also boldly accented with the 65 Miles brand logo, designed, developed and promoted by the Fox Valley Cooperative. The Co-op is comprised of four CVB’s and 1 Chamber of Commerce whose mission is to bring regional, national and international business and leisure visitors to the Fox Valley Region through a unified approach to marketing and advertising. Fox Valley Cooperative’s goal is to bring economic benefit to the region as well as each individual agency.

The GSCCVB is funded by the Illinois Office of Tourism and a portion of the hotel/motel tax collected by the City of St. Charles’ hotels to promote the Greater St. Charles area as a destination for leisure tourists, conventions, sports events, and meetings.
